WHAT IS MY ROLE AS A
CAMPUS MANAGER™?

As a Campus Manager™ you facilitate apparel orders for student organizations on your campus. Think: every time a chapter orders apparel for greek recruitment, club sports, a club fair etc., you would work with the apparel team to assist the ordering process and be the connection between UTees and your Campus!

WHAT DOES THE TYPICAL DAY
OF A CAMPUS MANAGER™
LOOK LIKE?

The most successful CM’s will follow up with customers, check in on their open orders, and occasionally meet with organizational leaders to help plan their upcoming apparel needs and events; however, it's not a one size fits all role, and you can easily balance school and work through communication with your BDL.

WHAT IS A BDL AND HOW WILL I BE IN CONTACT WITH THEM?

A Business Development Leader is one of the key resources a Campus Manager™ has. They are a member of our sales team who is there to support and guide Campus Managers™ to success. There are many ways in which you and your BDL will communicate. Social media channels and virtual Zoom meetings will be among some of the more popular options.

WHAT QUALITIES MAKE A GOOD CAMPUS MANAGER™?

A great Campus Manager™ is going to be nice, driven, selfless, loyal, and resourceful. They are going to strive to provide the best customer experience possible to every group and organization. Sociableness and an eye for design are also great plusses!

HOW WILL THIS ROLE HELP ME IF I’M NOT A BUSINESS MAJOR?

Although this role deals greatly with sales, marketing, the business management experience, and apparel merchandising, any major has an equal opportunity to be successful in the Campus Manager™ role! This experience will give insight on time management, self motivation, and communication that will look great on resumes! This role also fosters connections to networks you otherwise may not have. We accept students of all majors, regardless of post-graduate plans. 

I’M ALREADY VERY INVOLVED AT SCHOOL, CAN I BE A CAMPUS MANAGER™?

Absolutely! This role should only add to your experience. You get to make more connections on your campus and beyond, plus you get out what you put in–you make your own schedule!

HOW DOES COMPENSATION WORK FOR A CAMPUS MANAGER™?

Commission is based on sales and performance. There is an opportunity for commission to be made with every order; the more orders you close = the more commission you make! With every sale you make, you get closer to hitting milestones that raise your commission rate. Campus Managers™ who hold executive positions within their Greek chapters are unable to make commission on their organization’s orders, but don’t worry, there are still PLENTY of opportunities to make commission!

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?

You create your own schedule and do this remotely from your campus, during hours that are best for you and your customers! There is not a required number of hours per week, but ensuring that you are keeping up with current customers and their open orders, as well as searching for new customers is crucial to being a successful Campus Manager™. There may be busier times of the year like fall and spring, and slower times like summer and winter break.

Yes, you can! Every campus is different and this would be something you can discuss with your BDL to determine what would work best for your school.
